About The Service

The Reviewing Hub is responsible for reviewing the Care and Support Plans for children. We aim to support children and vulnerable adults to ensure they are as safe as they can possibly be and have plans in place to promote their wellbeing. Cardiff Children’s Services are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and vulnerable adults, and will take action to safeguard their well-being, and acknowledge that children and vulnerable adults have a right to protection. This is supported in the general ethos of the Council and all schools.

The post of Child CASP administrator is part of the Business Support service offering administrative support across a variety of teams within Childrens Services.

About the job

This key post is responsible for supporting and minute taking for a range of meetings in the Safeguarding and Reviewing Service.  This is to include convening and booking meetings, as well as taking detailed notes.

What We Are Looking For From You

You must be able to accurately summarise complex data and work with highly sensitive and emotive information in a confidential, professional manner.  You will have good written and verbal communication skills, be experienced in working to agreed standards and deadlines and will have made a positive contribution to teamwork. Also important are flexible approach to work, recent office experience teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Minute taking takes place on a laptop, which will be provided. In addition to minute taking skills you will need excellent organisational skills, be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
