Applications are invited for this temporary post which forms part of the Accountancy Section within the Resources Directorate (Finance).
About the job
The successful applicant will support the Council’s financial reporting, budgeting and accounting for homelessness and temporary accommodation and other housing schemes and initiatives. The role will also support the preparation and allocation of grant funding as appropriate to related schemes.
What We Are Looking For From You
The successful candidate will be AAT Level 4, CCAB (or equivalent) qualified or part qualified and must have experience of working in a financial environment and should have a good knowledge of local government finance.
The role requires good Information Technology, communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to produce a high standard of work within strict deadlines.

The vacancy is suitable for post share and is temporary until 31st March 2025
