About the job

A Finance Administrative Assistant is required within the Business Support Finance team. Duties include staff supervision, work planning, checking, updating, and recording of financial packages provided to children with health and disability needs. Checking and processing the payment of invoices, assisting in the operation of a petty cash account. Providing advice and support for budget users and Managers.

The post is considered for a combination of working from the St Mellons Family Centre office within Cardiff and from home

What We Are Looking For From You

You must be able to work flexibly and adaptably to changing priorities.  You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be experienced in working to agreed standards and deadlines. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Experience in maintaining databases and experience in working with figures is advantageous. A positive and customer focused attitude is essential, as is an understanding of staff motivation and support.
