This is an exciting time to join Cardiff Council’s Development team. We are directly responding to Cardiff’s housing need by implementing a large scale and award winning new build programme capable of delivering 4,000 new homes and investing significantly in our existing communities.

Using innovative solutions and moving towards a low-carbon standard we are delivering new homes at scale and pace and we need the right people with development experience to join our team to help ensure that all our new build aspirations are delivered. We are passionate about building great homes, creating sustainable communities and ensuring that high-quality green infrastructure, urban design and place-making are at the heart of what we do.

Due to the continued success and scale of our new build programme we are looking for an Assistant Regeneration Officer to join the team and help support and drive forward our strategic projects.

About the job

The successful candidate will provide support in the delivery of the Channel View scheme, working with residents, stakeholders and other partners to help us understand concerns and issues and ensure that we are engaging affectively. You will be working closely with the Project Manager supporting consultation events, ensuring that the community is kept informed of progress and helping to deliver this exciting and transformational redevelopment programme.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in development and project support within housing. You will have experience of resident engagement as well as excellent communication and organisation skills.
