An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to join the Adult Services Social Care Training and Development Team based within County Hall, Cardiff.
In line with the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014, the Social Care Training and Development Team is committed to the continuous development and encouragement of its staff to reach their full potential so that they feel empowered with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide our citizens with the best possible collaborative, person-centred care and support.
About the job
The successful applicant will support the training functions and provide effective provision of Business Support to the Training and Development Team, including support for commissioning activities, communication, finance data collection and performance management.
What We Are Looking For From You
We are looking for somebody who has experience of performance management frameworks and is able to support the team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and grant funding conditions. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of procurement rules and significant knowledge of finance processes, procedures and financial management systems.
We require someone who is able to implement robust communication mechanisms to ensure effective participation and engagement with internal and external stakeholders and who can develop and implement business systems to support the successful administration of the delivery of the functions of the Social Care Workforce Development Partnership.
The successful candidate will have line management experience and will be committed to putting our citizens at the heart of the work that we do and will enjoy working within a fast paced, dynamic team.
It would be of significant benefit to have experience of working within the social care sector.
We are looking for someone who is committed to their own learning and development and is willing to undertake further training opportunities when identified.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
