Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality void property management service. After a recent restructure of the service, a new permanent post has been created for a Business Support Team Leader within the Void Management Unit.
About the job
The successful applicant will lead the team to ensure effective reporting on our void properties, provide excellent administration and quality customer service to ensure that our void properties are managed effectively to ensure turnaround times are kept to a minimum.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will have experience of managing or supervising staff and working in a politically driven environment with an emphasis on housing. You will have experience of using new technology, including SAP and DRS. You will have experience of dealing with contractors and elected members and be able to develop productive working relationships. You will also have excellent organisational and management skills.
Experience of dealing with tenancy related matters such as exchanges and successions are an advantage but are not essential.
