Two permanent roles for a Grade 5 Civil Enforcement Officer position have become vacant within the Civil Parking Enforcement Team

About the job

The post holder(s) will be responsible for:

  • Patrolling areas where on-street and off-street parking is in operation across the city, in accordance with the Enforcement Strategy and Deployment Rota.
  • Identifying instances of parking in contravention and issuing Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with the operating practices within the Enforcement Officers Manual.
  • Ensuring the upkeep of appropriate records in accordance with the legislation and operating practices within the Enforcement Officers Manual.
  • Liaising with other teams within the enforcement group as appropriate to ensure effective delivery of the enforcement operation.
  • Contributing to best value by working in an efficient, effective, and economic way, and to suggest and implement ways of working whenever possible.

What We Are Looking For From You

This post is full time and will work 37 hours per week on a shift rota giving rise to periodic unsociable hours. 

A full valid driving licence and DBS check is required, in addition to successfully achieving the City & Guilds Civil Enforcement Officer qualification.
