A permanent role for a Grade 5 Civil Enforcement Officer position has become available within the Civil Parking Enforcement Team.
About the job
The post holder(s) will be responsible for:
- Patrolling areas where on-street and off-street parking is in operation across the city, in accordance with the Deployment Rota.
- Identifying instances of parking in contravention and issuing Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with the operating practices within the Enforcement Officers Manual.
- Ensuring the upkeep of appropriate records in accordance with the legislation and operating practices within the Enforcement Officers Manual.
- Liaising with other teams within the enforcement group as appropriate to ensure effective delivery of the enforcement operation.
- Contributing to best value by working in an efficient, effective, and economic way, and to suggest and implement ways of working whenever possible.
What We Are Looking For From You
A full valid driving licence and standard DBS check is required, in addition to successfully achieving the City & Guilds Civil Enforcement Officer qualification.

Additional information
This post is full time and will work 37 hours per week on a shift rota giving rise to periodic unsociable hours. The salary is £25,979 to £29,777 per annum + Shift Allowance.
Shift working is a requirement of this post for which a shift allowance of 10% of salary is payable.
