About The Service
The Into Work Advice Service provides support to people across the city who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded projects, volunteering opportunities and access to free digital and work skills training courses.
The team is dispersed across the city supporting customers who require one to one personalised employment, training, learning or digital support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with proven coordination skills to join our Into Work Advice Service Team
The Community Inclusion Officer will engage with external partners promoting Into Work Advice Services activities and projects. The Community Inclusion Officer will work city wide to build links with partner organisations, settling up effective referral processes, arrange and deliver events in the local community.
The Community Inclusion Officer will work with under-represented communities in Cardiff to engage and promote support available within Into Work teams
What We Are Looking For From You
You will have experience of communicating effectively with partners, jobseekers and stakeholders. You will have experience of working within a community or employability background. The successful candidate will assist with creating marketing material, developing promotional methods and promoting opportunities to local jobseekers.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, flexible whilst working across different communities and have experience of balancing varying work demands to meet the needs of the community.
Additional information
This post is temporary until 31/03/2026.
The post will be required to work from a number of different locations, including Central Library Hub and other community Hub buildings.
