Cardiff Councils Support and Accommodation Service provide accommodation, advice and support to vulnerable single people and families in housing need.

 

Our services run 24/7 365 days a year.

 

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, our service has had to make large changes and the successful candidates will contribute to the expansion of the service within.

Working with young people from the age of 16 – 25 in homelessness helping them navigate their way out of homeless services into independent living.  You will coordinate all aspects of the case linking them in with the Young Persons Multi-disciplinary Team (YP MDT) with a particular focus on those caught up in the criminal justice system, county lines and at high risk of harm

We are looking for dynamic, motivated and creative individuals with the ability to foster positive relationships.

 

This is an exciting opportunity and we are looking for a variety of people from various working backgrounds to make a real difference.  Proven experience of working with people with complex behaviours and an understanding of the issues faced by homeless individuals will be an advantage

 

The working environment can be challenging so the ability to remain calm under pressure will be an advantage. The role will require the successful candidate to support the management team with all aspects of the service.
