An exciting opportunity has become available at Cardiff Council and we are recruiting for a Digital Development Officer to assist with the implementation and management of a range of digital projects and performance improvements within the Civil Parking Enforcement Service.

The Civil Parking Enforcement Service is based in Cardiff Bay and undertakes the enforcement of parking and moving traffic offences across the City.

About the job

The Civil Parking Enforcement Digital Development Officer will be responsible for supporting the Civil Parking Enforcement teams with ensuring utilisation of digital technology and improving efficiencies and performance. This will include leading on projects to scope and implement new solutions, as well as the management of current contracts and software used across the section.

 

What We Are Looking For From You

We are looking for a highly organised, ‘can do’ individual with excellent digital and interpersonal skills, and experience working under pressure to strict deadlines. You will need to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service.

You will be able to demonstrate the requirements and experience detailed in the Person Specification.

Additional information

This post is a permanent full time post and will work 37 hours a week and will enjoy access to the Council’s flexi time scheme
