Do you love dogs? We are currently looking for an Administrative Support Officer at Cardiff Dogs Home. As part of a very busy frontline service, you will be required to assist the Council in discharging its responsibilities for stray dogs and ensuring that all ordering, invoicing and payments are managed efficiently.
About the job
The core tasks are managing the office, answering phones and attending to customers in reception. You will need to undertake all ordering, payments and invoicing as well as maintaining accurate records and meet required deadlines. You will also need to liaise closely with partners to maintain contracts and service level agreements.
Other tasks will include updating the website, using Council IT systems such as SAP, sharepoint and capita, keeping Dogs Home records up to date, micro-chipping, tracing & registering microchips.
You will come into contact with dogs so will need to be comfortable with them.

- Experience of working in a busy service
- Experience of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Additional information
This post is permanent.
This post is part time and will work 35 hours per week. The salary shown however relates to 37 hours per week and will therefore be pro-rata’d accordingly.
