24/7 Services incorporate Telecare Cardiff and Meals on Wheels. Both services work to support elderly and vulnerable adults, allowing them to live independently at home whilst allowing them to remain safe and healthy.
About the job
The role will entail the weekend delivery of hot meals to elderly and vulnerable clients throughout the city.
The post holder will be primarily responsible delivering meals via a pre-planned route, liaising with the Meals on Wheels cooks and reporting back any issues encountered. This will be done whilst carrying out hydration prompts and offering to plate up meals for our customers.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will need to have a passion for excellent customer service as well-being as an excellent communicator with the ability to listen, act and show empathy in often difficult situations. You will need to show attention to detail in accurately recording temperatures to comply with legislation.
