About The Service

Salary: Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale + SEN 1 or 2 (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Early Years Inclusion Team work with, support and coordinate services for children with additional needs (birth –5 years), their families and settings/schools to ensure that children access their entitlement with a smooth transition into nursery/ reception. We work as part of the Early Years Forum, Stage 3 ALN Requests, Case Advisory Panel and in partnership with parents, education, health, children's services and the third sector.

The Early Years Inclusion Team monitors and supports schools/settings to successfully include all children with additional needs to access their entitlement, environment and make progress with their needs met.

About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Disability and Early Years Specialist Teacher, working as part of the Disability and Early Years Inclusion Team within the Education Service and with partners in many different agencies the role focuses on working with parents/carers ensuring that the needs of children with additional needs are supported to access their entitlement and make good progress.

We are able to offer this position as a secondment with prior agreement from your head teacher and governing body.

Salary Main Pay Scale - £27,018 - £37,320 / Upper Pay Scale - £38,690 - £41,604
