About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Integrated Family Support Service. We are looking for a creative and dynamic professional to join a multi-disciplinary team. We are a regional team, delivering interventions with families to achieve and sustain significant changes in relation to substance misuse, mental health and/or domestic abuse.

About the job

You will help contribute to the Family Services within substance misuse provision through the development of support for carers / relatives and tier 2/3families through a range of evidenced based interventions including CRAFT. You will carry a caseload undertaking work with carers and families and assist families in accessing other appropriate family support / substance misuse services.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will have experience of working with carers/relatives of substance users and experience working with a motivational interviewing approach. You will be required to help develop and deliver training courses so need to have well developed written and oral communication skills. You will need to be passionate and committed to using strength based approaches. Candidates do not need to be Social Work qualified.
