About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Clerical Assistant working with the Occupational Therapy Contact and Review Team, within Independent Living Services.

About the job

The successful applicant will be based primarily at County Hall, although home working will be required at present.

The successful applicant will form part of the Contact and Review Team, working alongside the qualified Duty Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Contact Officers, providing advice and information to members of the public, both in respect of services directly provided by Occupational Therapy and those provided by other relevant agencies.

The sucessful aplicant will be responsible for, the taking and processing of referrals, maintaining support systems in respect of, telephone messages, databases, registers, correspondence, minute taking, photocopying, filing and stationery supplies.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.

The successful candidate must also be able to work to strict deadlines and be extremely flexible. You must be able to work autonomously as well as being able to work as part of a team.

It is essential that you have experience of working directly with members of the public/other agency personnel and can confidently deal with customer enquiries.
