An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed individuals with excellent customer service skills to join our Housing Solutions team, based in Hubs across the city.
About the job
You will be required to conduct Interviews advising customers on available housing options and conduct tenancy sign up interviews.
The successful applicant will also assist with the co-ordination of a wide range of council services and will be required to work collaboratively with various partner organisations to provide a holistic service
What We Are Looking For From You
You will require knowledge on Housing including the new allocation policy and the options available to help those affected.
You will also have knowledge on the Housing Benefit & the Council Tax Reduction scheme.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

This recruitment is for one full time position that is temporary until 31/03/2026.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
Weekend and evening working may be required on a rota basis and location of work may vary.
