An opportunity has arisen within the Digital Delivery Team as part of Customer & Digital Services. This role is focussed on ensuring the effective delivery and implementation of digital activities which will have a positive impact on the customer experience.
About the job
The Implementation and Delivery Manager is essential to the successful delivery of digital activities, working with service leads across the organisation to develop suitable roadmaps and ensure that business requirements are translated into products to be released across platforms.
The role will also play a significant part identifying and monitoring wider digital activities in line with the Council’s digital strategy and have responsibility for Ad Hoc projects as they emerge. It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to ensure that projects are prioritised and delivered to tight deadlines reporting progress back through to senior management.
What We Are Looking For From You
We’re looking for someone who has experience of delivering significant change activities which have had a positive impact on customers and an organisation. The successful candidate will have good communication skills with an ability to engage. This role has a broad remit and so the successful candidate will have excellent planning and prioritising skills with experience of co-ordinating multiple workstreams, topics and activities, and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
Along with managing stakeholders this role will also be responsible for both ICT and supplier engagement where needed and following through with the relevant processes surrounding procurement and supplier management.
A good understanding of project structures and principles is a key aspect of this role along with an organised approach to project paperwork and documentation.

This post is temporary to provide maternity cover for the substantive post holder and is anticipated to last until 12th January 2025.
