Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality, accessible service whilst carrying out its functions to maintain council estates and some of the surrounding areas. There is currently a vacancy for a Local Action Team Manager within the Housing Services Section.
About the job
The main function of the role is to be responsible for the Local Action Teams and Estate Co-Ordinators, ensuring that an efficient and effective service is provided in maintaining our local estates including resident engagement. To provide a high quality service, to assist with the development of policies and procedures and have a proactive approach to the management of the estates is adopted.
What We Are Looking For From You
Essential requirements are experience of working within council estates and housing stock. Staff supervision including coaching and developing new starters.
Also experience of working with community groups, volunteers and other agencies to encourage community engagement.
You should also have the ability to work as part of a team, be able to follow complex procedures and have good communication skills.
