About The Service
The Community Resource team (CRT) are part of Cardiff Councils Independent Living Services (ILS) who work in partnership with vulnerable adults to support them to live independently at home and connected to their communities.
CRT is a joint service provided by Cardiff Council and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board that aims to support adults, through therapy and/ or home care, to recover or maintain their ability to live independently at home. The service aims to encourage and support people to learn or re-learn skills necessary for daily living, following a period of illness or after a stay in hospital. The reablement support provided by the CRT will help our citizens discover what they are capable of and give them the confidence to do things independently.
About the job
CRT service, providing 1-to-1 support and assisting in the provision of training and quality checks of work relating to teams within the Adults, people, and community directorate.
The successful candidate will offer support to ensure compliance across the service in relation to meeting training standards. They will work closely with the Service Development Improvement Officer on the implementation and maintenance of procedures to ensure all staff are kept up to date suitably trained in relation to procedural changes.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will need to be an extremely motivated individual with a passion for promoting independence through a strength based approach, as well as an excellent communicator.
You will have excellent organisational, coordination skills and the ability to listen, act and inform as well as excellent ICT skills and experience of mentoring customers/staff and have experience of maintaining excellent statistical records
You will need to have experience of working in challenging environments and supporting the implementation of change.

The successful candidate will be required to split their time between office working and home working.
