An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer care skills to join our Into Work Advice Service Team.
The successful applicant will be part of our Pathway Team, specifically coordinating the newly launched Multiply Project. Multiply Project aims to support hard to reach citizens to upskill, with a focus on increasing numeracy skills as part of a UK wide scheme.
The Pathway Team includes our Adult Learning provision, Digital Support Service and Volunteer Cardiff programme. Multiply Project will work alongside the current provision to add value and accreditation wherever possible.
About the job
The Multiply Coordinator will have direct line management responsibility; ensuring staff are supported to deliver a high standard of service. The post involves managing a multiskilled team of Trainers, Community Engagement Officers and Quality & Performance Officers who will be based across the city.
The role will include liaising with partner organisations and key stakeholders with the aim of increasing referrals and engaging with hard to reach individuals.
The role will involve developing and implementing community engagement events throughout the year.
The Multiply Coordinator will work closely with our Quality & Performance Coordinator to ensure accreditation standards are maintained, reporting mechanisms are robust and accreditation is achieved wherever possible.
Part of the delivery will be procured out to other services. The Multiply Coordinator will need to monitor progress to ensure they are meeting the funding guidelines.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will have experience of managing a team dispersed across the city.
You will have experience of working in a job seeking related environment and have a good knowledge base of Adult Learning curriculum. You will have experience of working with Awarding Bodies to ensure courses being delivered are meeting the correct standards.
You will have experience of compiling reports, analysing data and ensuring services are distributed to meet the needs across the city.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to differing situations. You will have the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner. You will work well in a team and understand how to avoid duplication within services when running a programme with Pathway Team colleagues.
