This vacancy is only available to employees of Cardiff Council including Cardiff Works and Agency Workers currently engaged with the Council.

The School Organisation Programme (SOP) Team within the Education Directorate is responsible for the effective planning and delivery of high quality school places in Cardiff, including the £284m 21st Century School Programme. It is responsible for planning and managing the organisation of schools and the establishment of new schools. In addition, the team is responsible for large capital budgets relating to large-scale asset renewal projects, suitable and equality access projects, and is responsible for the health and safety of Education staff, users and pupils, with respect to the safety and suitability of school premises.

All work undertaken by the team directly relates to the improvement of teaching and learning in schools, and continues to adapt to changes in curriculum and technology, for the betterment of learning opportunities across all establishments.

 

 

About the job

To provide efficient and effective project administration support to the Performance and Governance functions of the School Organisation & Planning Team, and contribute to continuous improvement in customer care and all business processes.
