About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support Cardiff Council’s Data Strategy and Planning & Performance Framework through the delivery of a series of business intelligence projects. These projects aim to leverage data as a strategic asset and embed evidence-led decision making across the organisation.

About the job

The successful candidate will join the Performance & Insight Team within Performance & Partnerships. You will work with stakeholders to plan and coordinate project activities, support strong project governance, and maintain required project documentation. You will be part of a highly motivated, dedicated, and supportive team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

What We Are Looking For From You

We are looking for an individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, who can present complex information to a variety of audiences. You must have a track record of successful project delivery, with experience of leading cross-functional teams. You will be organised and able to efficiently manage your own tasks, and the tasks of others, prioritising and scheduling work as needed.

A good level of ICT competency will be a pre-requisite, and familiarity with more specialist software, such as Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project would be advantageous.

Most importantly, we encourage applications from individuals who are passionate about public service improvement and enjoy working as part of an effective team.
