About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer service skills to join our North Hub Teams (Rhydypennau Hub)

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customers using Hubs & Libraries. Tasks will include resolving advice enquiries, providing customer focused delivery of library services, information provision and to act as a mentor and provide support to other officers.

About the job

The successful applicant will be required to provide advice on a wide range of Council services, including library provision. You will be required to work collaboratively with various partner organisations to provide a holistic service, whilst ensuring excellent customer service, face to face or by telephone, is delivered at all times. You will act as a mentor to other officers and provide support them and the assistant hub manager.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will require expert knowledge on delivering Library Services, Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction and Housing. You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner.

This post is temporary until 31st March 2022.

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

Weekend and evening working will be required on a rota basis and location of work may vary.
