The Senior Hub Officer will be responsible for: Supporting staff on the phone who have enquiries about immediate homelessness potential homelessness and support for prevention. The role will involve mainly supporting staff with calls and taking complex queries that have been escalated. The role will also involve some email queries that present to the team via the mailbox.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will require expert knowledge on Housing including the new allocation policy and the options available to help those affected

You will also have good knowledge of the sign up process for new Council contract holders and the other housing services available to them once they become a contract holder.

You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner.

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

Weekend and evening working will be required on a rota basis and location of work may vary.
