Caretaking Services is currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a site-based Caretaker at one of our high-rise blocks of flats in the Cardiff area. Our service is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and upkeep for our residents.
About the job
As the Site-Based Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and the overall condition of our high-rise blocks. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service, manage fire risk removal, rotate bins, and report necessary repairs. Your role will also involve supporting the Council’s health and safety policies, conducting regular workplace risk assessments, and ensuring a safe environment for both employees and the public.
Key duties include:
- Providing consistent cleaning and caretaking services across designated areas.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We Are Looking For From You
We are seeking candidates with:
- A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in caretaking or cleaning roles (preferable but not essential).
