About The Service
Rent Smart Wales delivers a Registration and Licensing Scheme for landlords and agents of rented property across Wales. This follows the designation of Cardiff Council as the Single Licensing Authority for Wales. Its aim is to secure safe and well managed property for tenants by making sure that those who let out and manage property are fit and proper to do so, understand their legal obligations and comply with requirements placed on them through the application of law and licence conditions. To achieve this we offer advice, support and training.
