About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing and Communities Early Help service to recruit a Workforce Development Officer. This full-time, temporary post is to cover maternity leave until 31st May 2024, or until the return of the substantive postholder.

You will be part of an established Workforce Development and Accredited Centre team who have proven experience in delivering training programmes aimed at a range of professionals and the families our teams work with.

About the job

The post-holder will work as part of the Workforce Development and Accredited Centre team to co-ordinate and oversee the delivery of a training programme that supports staff working within intervention services aimed at children, young people and families. You will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure the training programme is fit for purpose and staff have access to relevant development opportunities. 

What We Are Looking For From You

Applicants must have experience of working in or alongside intervention services. Experience and knowledge of commissioning with external training partners would be beneficial. Experience of budget management would also be beneficial. You must be able to use your initiative, work independently, work well with others and have good customer service skills.
