A vacancy has arisen for a temporary role until March 2023 as a Administrative Assistant within Business Support (MASH) This post will coordinate and supervise administrative staff that facilitate the front door process supporting social workers based within a Multi-Agency safeguarding Hub and elsewhere providing business support.
- Duties include the supervision of a team of support staff, ensuring contacts and referrals are entered onto the CareFirst system on time, Monitor the receipt and processing of PPNs’,
- ensure that data is processed accurately and promptly with responsibility for the day-to-day management of database systems to ensure quality of information stored
- This post is central to the drive to improve our services to vulnerable children and their families whilst supporting the MASH function and requires someone who is committed to providing the best service possible to meet customer needs,
- The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check and also a police vetting procedure.
The post is considered for a combination of hybrid working from home and office at County Hall.
What We Are Looking For From You
You must be able to work flexibly and adaptably to changing priorities. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be experienced in working to agreed standards and deadlines. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and have experience of supervising staff.
