About the job

Based in the Allocations Team within the Allocations & Rehousing Unit, the main function of the post will be to allocate void properties to applicants’ shortlisting on the Common Housing Waiting List, in-line with the Allocations Policy, whilst meeting the highest levels of customer services.

 

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to produce reports and correspondence using software packages. In addition you will have excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to adapt and learn to follow complex procedures quickly. You will also be able to work to strict deadlines and be extremely flexible. You will have experience of working with IT systems, and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

 

Additional information

The post is temporary until 31/10/2025.

Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Director/ Assistant Director/ Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
