Building Control is a dynamic and varied public service provider specialising in Building Regulations and public safety principally through the Building Act 1984.

As an active member of LABC Services, Cardiff Building Control also works in partnership with local and national companies and local authorities throughout England and Wales to deliver a high quality, competitively priced nationwide service.

About the job

As a member of the Building Control Team you will be expected to contribute to a customer focused service provision with appropriate support to all members of the current team. Full support, guidance and mentoring will be provided to ensure that your full potential in the Building Control environment can be achieved. 

 

 

What We Are Looking For From You

Applications are invited from people who wish to progress within a Local Authority Building Control Division, and;

 

  • Can deliver high quality, customer focused, services;
  • Can work as part of a proactive forward thinking Local Authority Building Control Service,
  • Have good communication skills, written and oral;
  • Are IT literate; and,
  • Have a valid current driving license and sole use of a motor vehicle,
