About the job

The Marketing Team at St David’s Hall, The National Concert Hall of Wales, requires an experienced marketing professional to assist in maximising audience development and income.
The successful applicant must have a keen interest in music & the Arts and have proven arts marketing experience, and experience of managing a team in a marketing related area of a similar venue or environment.  In addition applicants must be conversant with a computerised box office, have knowledge of all areas of marketing and campaign management, first class communication skills, an understanding of Audience Development, experience of programming, pricing strategy, media buying and possess developed IT skills including web management, design skills and a knowledge of social media marketing.
 
Flexible and part remote working available.

What We Are Looking For From You

We are looking for an Arts Marketing specialist with proven Arts Marketing Experience in a similar venue or environment and be able to demonstrate:-

- Suitable experience in dealing with promoters, the press, public relations and managing fully integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience of managing a number of projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Have experience of producing brochures, direct mail copy and press release writing.
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of database marketing and conversant with a computerised box office system in order to make effective use for marketing purposes.
- An understanding of managing marketing budgets and of programming and ticket pricing.
- Ability to negotiate media buying contracts, and develop excellent relationships across all media suppliers.
- IT literate with Knowledge of digital and social media marketing. Experience of website management and e-marketing.
- Design skills including Photoshop & Quark
