About The Service
Cardiff and Vale Music Education provides tuition and activities across 190 schools and settings working with around 7000 children a week. Our team is made up of enthusiastic and skilled teachers, and supported by our business support team that is based in Chapter Arts centre in Cardiff.
We are seeking to appoint 3 business support officer roles to join our team and support our tutors, schools and customers with key day to day delivery and our events and activities.
About the job
Under the supervision of the Business Development Lead provide financial and administrative support within Cardiff and Vale Music Education including processing of all invoices, reconciliation of all income and maintenance of an effective commitments system. Support members of the Senior Leadership Team, Creative leads and Tutor leads to ensure that the organisation meets its objectives in an efficient, business led approach making the best use of resources.
What We Are Looking For From You
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be confident in the use of all word processing applications and be open to learning new skills. The role will be based in Chapter Arts Centre, but flexible home working may occasionally be supported dependant on business needs. There also may be a need to attend other venues to discharge the duties required.
Having an interest and a passion for music, or music education will be an advantage as a key element of the job will be interacting with parents , pupils and tutors and providing administrative support to concerts, events and activities through out the year. This may sometime require flexible working as a when required.
