An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Into Work Advice Service. The Into Work Advice Service supports individuals who are looking for work or to upskill. The team is dispersed across the city supporting customers who require one to one personalised employment, training, learning or digital support.

About the job

The Community Inclusion Officer will be part of our Multiply Project. The role will involve engaging with external partners to promote training / learning delivered by Multiply and Adult Learning Provisions. The Community Inclusion Officer will take a lead on producing new and creative ways to engage with hard to reach individuals and communities. 

What We Are Looking For From You

You will have experience of communicating effectively with partners, potential learners and stakeholders. You will have experience of working within a community or learning background.

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, flexible whilst working across different communities and have experience of balancing varying work demands to meet the needs of the community.

This is a temporary posts available until 31/03/2025.

Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Director/ Assistant Director/ Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.

Evening and/or weekend working may be required.
