About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer service skills to join the Quality, Appeals & Complaints Team as a temporary, (until 31/1/23), Complaints & Communications Officer.

About the job

You will be responsible for providing high quality responses to all complaints, and also to enquiries from Councillors, Members of the Senedd and Members of Parliament, ensuring these are dealt with in a timely manner.


You should have a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment and work collaboratively with colleagues.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will have good knowledge of Council procedures, dealing with complaints & enquiries and preferably will have experience of working within Local Government.

You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have excellent communication & organisational skills, good IT skills, with the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner and a commitment to meeting the customer's needs.


The post-holder will be required to meet corporate deadlines and to ensure responses are of a high standard and accurate.

Additional information

The temporary post is until 31st January 2023.
