This set up consists of youth centres, specialist provisions, youth mentoring and street based youth work teams that all provide a wide variety of creative opportunities and experiences that encourage the participation and development of young people in communities.

About the job
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Youth Service for an youth support worker. This post is based within Digital Youth Work Team.
You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team who are working with young people with digitally and across the city. The aim of your role will be to support work carried out by the digital youth work team working with young people aged 11-25.
Experience of working with young people is essential for this role. Digital skills are also essential with this role to assist and support young people to develop skills, confidence and self esteem. The team are committed in delivering sector leading digital youth work and you would be involved in its delivery and developments.
What We Are Looking For From You
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic youth workers who will encourage creativity and innovation to inspire and motivate young people through direct open access youth work.
We are looking for youth workers who have positive attitudes and resilience to be able to impact positively on the lives of young people and encourage progression.
The successful candidates will either be qualified to at least youth support worker level 3 or are working towards or be prepared to undertake this training within an agreed time period.
We are looking for youth workers who have experience of assessing the needs of young people and respond appropriately through youth work activity, support and guidance.
We are looking for proactive individuals who have a clear interest in working to support young people to develop and flourish as individuals and contribute positively to their community.
