About The Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual, with excellent customer service skills to join our Community Hubs Teams. Hub teams support customers by providing advice on a wide range of council services along with full library provision.

About the job

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of the Wellbeing Support service, providing 1-to-1 bespoke support, working with individuals to support all aspects of their wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with various partner organisations & advice agencies to provide a fully accessible coordinated holistic service.

 

What We Are Looking For From You

You will ensure practical Wellbeing Support for customers is appropriate to need, to enable customers to take an active role in managing and improving their health & wellbeing. To enable this you will provide guidance and support that meets the needs of the customer with regular reviews set in place.

You will have excellent organisational, coordination skills and the ability to promote the service to ensure effective referrals. 

You will have experience of mentoring customers/staff and have experience of maintaining excellent statistical records 

You will have excellent customer service skills, be flexible, play an active part in the Hubs/Libraries teams ensuring that good communication is maintained within the team, and contribute to the work of the team as a whole.

This post is temporary until 31/03/2025.

Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). The relevant Chief Officer may only approve requests or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.

This post is part time and will work 18.5 hours per week. The pro-rata salary is £12,989 per annum.

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

This post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service Standard checks.

Weekend and evening working will be required on a rota basis and location of work may vary.
