An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed individuals with excellent customer service skills to join our Housing Section, based at County Hall with some possible homeworking.
About the job
The training scheme will provide the successful applicant with the skills required to assist our customers with their housing related enquiries and of using different IT systems.
You will be required to speak to customers and tenants advising on a range of housing matters.
The successful applicant will also assist with the co-ordination of a wide range of council services and will be required to work collaboratively with various partner organisations to provide a holistic service
What We Are Looking For From You
There are no formal qualification or experience requirements however the successful applicant will have good communication & IT skills and the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
A positive and customer focused attitude is essential as you will be working with customers face to face and via telephone. You will need to work well in a team and have a flexible approach.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage Supplement that tops up the basic rate of pay to £12.00 per hour. The supplement will be reviewed every April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage Supplement.
