About The Service

We are currently developing and expanding the 24/7 Service and have an opportunity for individuals to join our team within the state of the art Alarm Receiving Centre as Locality Wardens. Based as Willcox House, Dunleavy Drive (Cardiff Bay), the team will be providing a community based response to customers and employees, patrols of buildings and key holding services.

About the job

We have an exciting opportunity for committed individuals to join our team. The team are responsible for providing a reliable and agile community response service in required buildings maintaining a high level of security. This includes patrols of buildings, challenging low level anti-social behaviour and responding to tasks from the CCTV Team in the ARC. The team is also required to act as keyholders for various sites, responding to alarms during out of hours periods.

What We Are Looking For From You

Successful candidates are likely to be team players who work well under pressure, and remain calm when dealing with challenging and/or difficult situations. We welcome candidates who are able to speak community languages.

Additional information

The Contact Centre operates on a 24/7 basis, every day of the year including Public and Bank Holidays. An appropriate shift pattern is in place with relevant enhancements an allowances being provided. Previous experience is not essential, full training will be given.

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will need to be successfully undertaken and a full valid UK driving license is required.

This post is part time and will work 28 hours per week and the salary will be pro rata'd.
