Children’s Services are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual with proven experience in diary management, prioritisation and communication skills to provide support to the Director of Children’s Services.

About the job

If you are someone who can provide a range of organisational and administrative support to the Director of Children’s Services, this is the role for you.  You will provide efficient and competent secretarial support - coordinating day-to-day activities such as diary management, maintaining an effective mail tracking / filing / retrieval system, minute taking and supporting the corporate requirements undertaken by the Director.

What We Are Looking For From You

You must have proven experience in:

  • Dealing with a variety of tasks / demands relevant to the post.
  • Communicating accurately, concisely and sensitively.
  • Working as part of / contributing to effective team working.
  • Organising and prioritising work and producing quality work.
  • Using initiative and responding to the changing needs of the Directorate.
