About the Service

Housing Options provide assistance, and the Council’s corporate duty to help clients who are homeless or under threat of becoming homeless. The service provides assistance to often vulnerable people when they are at greatest need.

About the Job

The post holder will provide housing advice and assistance to clients who are currently in hospital. accessing mental health services and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

They will work with colleagues in Health to progress homeless assistance and maximise move-on options to reduce delays with discharge of clients from hospital.

What we are looking for from you

The post holder will need to be flexible, manage a case load, and work to tight deadlines in what can be a pressured environment.

The post holder will have experience of multi-agency working and working with vulnerable clients.

Experience of homeless legislation and policy would be an advantage.
