Cardiff Social Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead on the implementation of:

A Quality Assurance and Audit Strategy for Children and Adult Services and

Robust Quality Assurance Processes across the Directorate.

About the job

As Quality Assurance Manager you will join a committed team, dedicated to providing care and support to the Citizens of Cardiff.

This role will suit an experienced social worker who believes in the value of social work and who thrives on continuous development and service improvement.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of managing others
  • Ability to exercise a leadership and challenge function with team managers and social work practitioners
  • Ability to identify areas for policy and practice improvement and lead on their implementation

You will work closely with the teams to disseminate good practice across the workforce and raise expectations that the work we do will be of the highest standard.

If you’re someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment, believes in the value of social work and can promote a ‘best practice first’ culture across the workforce, then this might be the role for you.
