About The Service

Do you want to be part of a service supporting the children’s service workforce to respond to the challenges of working in new and different ways? Cardiff Children’s Services is continuing its Improvement journey and has adopted a strength-based model to enhance everyday practice.

About the job

We currently have one permanent part time (18.5 hours) vacancy to join our small team who are supporting staff to embed the Signs of Safety model for working with families.
If you are interested in a full time role (37 hours) which will reduce to 18.5 hours in March 2022 when the maternity leave ends, please include this in your application to be considered.

Your role will be to support the planning, scheduling, delivery and evaluation of all Signs of Safety learning and development activities by providing dedicated administrative support.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will have good IT and administrative skills, be able to manage your own workload, undertake quality assurance audits to identify good practice and areas that need improvement, (relating to evidence of the tools used in the Signs of Safety Framework), and respond to deadlines.

Due to current restrictions and Welsh Government guidance, you will be working from home and supporting the Signs of Safety Practice Lead to deliver staff training and briefings, facilitate group supervision and reflection meetings, and attending team meetings to discuss all aspects of the model.
