About the job

The role of our Social Media and Website Executives are essential to our ability to significantly raise the profile, visibility and reputation of the Cardiff Capital Region and our City Deal activity and are therefore integral to our evolving communications strategy. The main priorities for the roles are;

  • The development and execution of a coherent, creative social media strategy including re-purposing of general content.
  • Ownership of our CMS’s and evolution of our website content and analytics capability across multiple brands.
  • Design/ graphics / basic desktop publishing capability to assist with our collateral build and promotional materials.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will be a creative, resourceful digital marketer looking for the opportunity to shape our approach to digital media. Candidates must have practical, demonstrable experience of managing social media platforms, content creation / short form copy writing and be comfortable using web CMS (WordPress) and tools such as InDesign/ Adobe. If you are a confident, creative communicator looking for an opportunity to showcase your flair and talents and make your mark on the Cardiff Capital Region activity we would love to hear from you.

This vacancy incorporates flexitime and a combination of office and home-based working.

This post is temporary until 31st March 2025.
