About the job
The Cardiff and Vale Safeguarding Boards for Adults and Children wish to appoint a dynamic Strategic Business Manager to form an integral part of the Business Unit. The Business Unit was established to support, coordinate and manage the activities of both Boards. The Boards are continuously reviewing and improving systems in order to build on their developments to date, and the Business Manager role is crucial in ensuring that the Boards achieve their objectives to safeguard and support our communities effectively.
This post is temporary until 31st July 2021 to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder.
What We Are Looking For From You
We wish to appoint an individual who demonstrate strategic thinking and can manage a Business Unit and the work of the Boards effectively. Experience of working within a safeguarding arena and managing others is an essential requirement of this post.
