About the job

As Trade Operations Support Officer you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Recycling and Waste Collection services and associated task’s throughout the city including raising orders through matrix for agency cover, taking requests for leave and recording of absences.  You will also be responsible for managing customer requests and complaints ensuring excellent customer service is also maintained.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have excellent written skills and experience with customer services.  You will need good IT skills with knowledge of most Microsoft packages and have excellent organisational skills.

This post will require you to be available 37 hours Monday to Friday between 6am-345 pm.  In addition you will  contracted to work Good Friday, and the catch up weekends following Christmas and New Year.

This vacancy is only available to employees of Cardiff Council including Cardiffworks and Agency Workers currently engaged with the Council.

You will be able to quickly adapt to technologies used by the service. You will need to understand and operate in line with Council Policies and Procedures. You must maintain the reputation of the Council by adopting a professional and courteous approach
