Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality, accessible Allocations & Rehousing Unit. The Service currently has a vacancy for one full time temporary Waiting List Officer role.

About the job

The main function of the post will be to assist with the administration of the Common Waiting List for social housing, ensuring inputting and assessing of applications and supporting information is carried out accurately and promptly, whilst meeting high levels of customer services.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to produce reports and correspondence using software packages.
In addition you will have excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to adapt and learn quickly to follow complex procedures.
You will also be able to work to strict deadlines and be extremely flexible. You will have experience of working with IT systems, and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
