An exciting opportunity has arisen within Independent Living Services, as the First Point of Contact (FPOC) Team and Training team leader for the FPOC community team.
Independent Living Services (ILS) support vulnerable adults to live independently at home and connected to their communities, through tailored information, advice and support – enabling people to take control of their own lives.
About the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the First point of contact team and be personally responsible for the supervision of the Preventative Services training officer. The post holder will be primarily responsible for leading, developing, supporting and communicating with the staff group and will work closely with the Independent Living Support Service manager in the continuing development of service provision.
What We Are Looking For From You
The successful candidate will have excellent communications and IT skills and experience of working within a Social Care, Health, 3rd Sector or Advice giving environment. You will have a strong track record of managing resources effectively and providing excellent outcomes for customers.
You will need to demonstrate an ability to respond sensitively to individual’s circumstances, as well as having a positive can do attitude
