Caretaking Services is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Site-Based Cleaner at one of our Community Living Schemes located within the Cardiff area.

 

About the job

As the Site-Based Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our Community Living Schemes. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a high-quality cleaning service within the designated site, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable at all times.

What We Are Looking For From You

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience working within a domestic or commercial cleaning environment is preferred.
  • Comfortable with customer interaction and providing excellent customer service.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous, although training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and part of a team
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work.

Additional information

This post is part time and will work 25.00 hours per week. The pro-rata salary

is £15,716.65 per annum.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12.00 per hour (scp 2 only). This supplement will be reviewed annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.

Please note working hours are 8.30 am to 1.30 pm Monday to Friday.
